Return Policy

Returns


 

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it, simply send it back to us within (30) days of the verified order date in the condition you received it with the order number printed on the outside of the package. 

 

All qualifying item(s) on orders totaling up to $499.00 will incur a 15% restock fee. Orders totaling $500.00 or more will incur a 20% restock fee. 

* To better serve our customers we have changed our policy to accept retuns on purchases made during the Halloween Season (October 1st to November 1st) with the following notes

- Items will be subject to a Higher restock fee. All qualifying item(s) on orders totaling up to $499.00 will incur a 25% restock fee. Orders totaling $500.00 or more will incur a 30% restock fee.

-Items That have been visibly worn, have an odor, have stains, or are missing pieces will not be refunded.

-All other return policies remain as normal.

 

Please Note: Shipping costs on all returns is the responsibility of the buyer.

 

ALL eligible items must be received in our warehouse within the (30) day period to be eligible for a refund. Items must be received in unused/unworn condition. Items that smell or show any signs of use, will not be refunded. Items returned to us in this condition will be returned, if requested at the buyer’s expense.


*Non-returnable items include: any item that has been worn or used, cosmetics (make-up, hair color etc.), All weapons, undergarments, socks or stockings, artificial hair of any kind (including eyelashes, beards, wigs, moustaches, etc.), prosthetics, fangs or fake teeth, special order items.

 

Shoe Returns: All shoes must be unmarked (without scuffs), unworn and in new condition. Try your shoes on indoors in a carpeted area to avoid making them ineligible for a return.

 

Items will NOT be eligible for a refund if

 

1) Item was refused upon delivery.

2) An incorrect address was provided by the customer.

3) An item or items that are received by our warehouse outside of the (30) day period (from original order date).

4) ALL International orders shipped outside the United States are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

5) EXECPTION: If an order is delayed due to an inclement weather system or any other uncontrollable incident that causes substantial disruptions to the courier's service. Items can be returned for a refund but shipping charges will not be returned.

 

Once an order is returned we will issue you a refund, (minus shipping fees, which are not credited). Typically, within (10) days of the receipt of your package by Heritage Costumes. *Note during our Halloween season this process may take up to (3) weeks. Banks and credit card companies usually take up to (48) hours to process the return.

 Exchanges


  If you would like to exchange your item(s) for a different costume or accessory, or if you need a different size, we want to make sure that our exchange process is fast and easy.

1) Place a new order for the replacement item(s) (we require this because some items may be out of stock by the time we receive your return).

2) Ship package back to us via trackable shipping method (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS with delivery confirmation, etc.).

Please Note: Shipping costs on all exchanges is the responsibility of the buyer.

 

Once your exchanged item(s) are received. We will issue a full refund for the exchanged item(s) - (minus shipping fees, which are not credited).

 How to return an item:


 

1) Return item(s) within thirty (30) days of the original order date.

2) Ship package back to us via trackable shipping method (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS with delivery confirmation, etc.).

3) Please clearly mark your original order # on outside of box when returning items.

4) Fill out this Return Form and include it with your return in order to be eligible.

 How to exchange an item:

 Damaged/Defective Merchandise:


  

If there is a problem with your order, contact a customer care representative immediately.

 

*All damaged/defective items will be refunded in full.

*If you receive an item that is visibly damaged, please refuse delivery and contact Heritage Costumes immediately.

* Please notify the courier who delivered the package and file a claim for the damaged merchandise.

* If you'd like a replacement for an item that has been damaged, please place a new order for the item(s). 

Defective Items: If there is a problem with your order, contact a customer care representative immediately. While we do everything within our power to ensure that you receive the product(s) you ordered in the condition you expect, sometimes mistakes and accidents happen. We will do our best to ensure that the issue is resolved to your satisfaction. Replacement items will be shipped the same method as the original order.
