Romans like Julius Caesar, Marc Antony, Caligula, Ovid, and Marcus Aurelius alike all wore the iconic tunic. Though Roman culture contained a number of social classes, everyone wore a tunic. The lowest classes — the plebians, herdsmen, and slaves — wore the plainest tunics made from coarse fabric in dark shades. Romans of the patrician class donned tunics in white wool or linen, while members of the military wore similar tunics. Those of the most importance in Roman society, the magistrates, wore the best quality tunics in white, decorated with different accents to show their role and status.

In typical Roman fashion, the more distinguished the wearer, the more his dress was distinctively marked, while the dress of the lowest classes was often not marked at all.

Cleaning Instructions:
* Most items made from polyester/cotton blend treat as polyester.
* Most items made from polyester can be machine washed and dried.
* Use warm water and add a fabric softener to the final rinse cycle.
* Machine dry at low temperature setting and remove articles as soon as the tumbling cycle is complete.
* If ironing is needed, use a moderately warm iron.
* Most items made from polyester can be dry-cleaned.

To remove stains:
Soak and the wash with soap and warm water using a mild liquid detergent.
Remove tough stains by spraying with a mild stain remover. It will have a better chance of removing stains other than food and dirt.
Tumble dry on low heat.
