A bandolier or a bandoleer is a pocketed belt for holding ammunition. It was usually slung sash-style over the shoulder, with the ammunition pockets across the midriff and chest. In its original form, it was common issue to soldiers from the 1500s to the 1700s, and contained either pre-packed chargers, small containers of wood, metal or cloth containing the measured amount of gunpowder for a single shot with a muzzle-loading muskets or other guns, or early forms of cartridges also containing a ball.

The bandolier was also  used to keep ammunition off a soldier's hips, as carrying too much weight on the hips can constrain movement and cause difficulty in retrieving the ammunition.

Just like Pancho Villa, you can lead a revolution with the Mexican cross belts.

To remove stains:

Make a soap and warm water solution using a mild liquid detergent. Wipe the fabric gently with a non-abrasive sponge, until all the visible dirt is removed.

Remove tough stains by spraying with an alcohol-based all-purpose cleaner, like Formula 409. It will have a better chance of removing stains other than food and dirt.

Rinse the faux leather thoroughly using warm water and a clean, non-soapy sponge. Make sure to get in the crevices of faux leather so that soap suds or dirt do not get lodged in small cracks or folds.

Wipe the surface dry with a lint-free towel.

These black spats fit over the top of shoe and have adjustable strap at bottom of spat, to maintain proper placement.
