A Heritage Costumes Exclusive.
The Ancient Greeks were not fussy about their clothing. In all the ancient world, first and foremost clothes needed to be simple.
The most basic garment in Grecian clothing was the chiton. The chiton was a type of tunic worn by Greek men, and was often made of a lighter linen material, as men were often outdoors more, and would require more comfortable clothing (especially in the summer).
The male chiton typically fell to the ankles of the wearer. Often excess fabric would be pulled over a girdle, or belt which was fastened around the waist.
An exclusive piece in our Heritage Costumes Ancient History collection of quality costume clothing, this children’s Grecian chiton (tunic) is authentic to Ancient Greece. You’ll look just like an ancient Grecian when you don this historically accurate Greek chiton to capture traditional Grecian attire.
This high-quality chiton can be used for historical school events, play, or simply a fun day of life in Ancient Greece. Made with pride and care right in the United States.
