Sats were primarily worn by men, and less commonly by women, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Made of white pleather material, spats velcro around the ankle. Their intended practical purpose was to protect shoes and socks from mud or rain but this footwear also served as a feature of stylish dress in accordance with the fashions of the period
Take a step back in history with a pair of Victorian Period Shoe Spats! They're an snazzy way to dress like some of the more wealthier men during that time.

Definition of Accessory - A thing that can be added to something else in order to make it more useful, versatile, or attractive. Accessories always complete and complement a costume or outfit.
To remove stains:
Make a soap and warm water solution using a mild liquid detergent. Wipe the fabric gently with a non-abrasive sponge, until all the visible dirt is removed. Remove tough stains by spraying with an alcohol-based all-purpose cleaner, like Formula 409. It will have a better chance of removing stains other than food and dirt. Rinse the faux leather thoroughly using warm water and a clean, non-soapy sponge. Make sure to get in the crevices of faux leather so that soap suds or dirt do not get lodged in small cracks or folds. Wipe the surface dry with a lint-free towel.
(One size - fits over Shoe) - These white spats fit over the top of shoe and have adjustable strap at bottom of spat, to maintain proper placement.
